Description
MUST HAVE:
A minimum of 4 years RN experience in a mental health setting (OR a Post Graduate qualification in relevant area)
Hold a current driver’s licence

Specific skill set
• Strong computer literacy skills
• Work under direct and indirect supervision.
• Able to manage patient caseload and seek support from multidisciplinary team.
• Provide mental health assessment, care and relapse prevention planning through evidence-based interventions.
• Work collaboratively with the persons family, carers, government and non-government sector, GPs with the aim of recovery.

This position is primary located within the Belconnen Community Recovery Services (CRS). CRS are a multi-disciplinary team of Nurses, Allied Health Professionals, Psychiatry Registrars and Consultant Psychiatrists, and Administration Service Officers.

CRS provide a recovery-focused, strengths-based approach to clinical case management to improve wellbeing and enhance functioning in the community for adults who:
• Are experiencing complex mental illness/disorder or psychological distress which is associated with significant functional impairment and/or significant risks
• May be subject to a Psychiatric Treatment Order under the Mental Health Act 2015
• Have multidisciplinary treatment needs that cannot be met elsewhere in the community or less intensive service
• Require regular service contact over a medium to longer-term episode of care.
