If you’re a doctor in New Zealand, Canada, the United Kingdom or Ireland considering a move to Australia, contact Vanguard Health to see if we can assist with your transition and registration pathway. Doctors from comparable health systems may be eligible for a fast-track registration pathway through Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and the relevant specialist colleges, which can streamline assessment and reduce time to commencement. All Vanguard Health Doctor Workforce staff are required to provide evidence of
- Up-to-date vaccination record
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Qualifications (we require this in addition to your AHPRA registration number).
- If you don’t have evidence of your qualifications, you can contact the institution where you trained/studied to obtain a copy
Vanguard Health Doctors must also complete the following mandatory training:
- Basic Life Support Certification
- Infection control
- Hand hygiene
- Vanguard Health policies and procedures
Other training, credentials and qualifications may be required depending on the role.
Yes, if you are required to work in a remote location, assistance with travel and accommodation will be included in your contract.
